OK, I find myself no longer wearing this piece so moving it out.

It's a Speedmaster Professional and the serial number places it at 1985.

No major dings or flaws with watch. No bracelet boxes or manuals. I've always worn it on the leather nato as seen in the pictures. Will also throw in an unused leather strap that I picked up to wear with the watch but I loved the NATO so much I never got around to it.

$2,000

A bunch of people have asked for movement shots so here they are:

Somebody has also mentioned that based on the dial that it does not appear to be a 1985 model. I tried my best to take a serial number shot through a loupe and am basing the 1985 on the chart found on this page and the fact that the serial number is in the 46M range:

The person I bought it from was unsure of production year and I am solely basing the 1985 off of the serial number and that chart. If somebody else has a better idea of age I'm all ears.

P.S.

I have so many watches in my rotation that I generally don't wear any one watch for more than a day before they go back in the box. For that reason I have never really worried about doing a time test to see how many seconds it may lose or gain in a day.

I'll try and do a 24 hour test starting tonight to see what the movement is timing like.

Some further information.

The watch is from 1985 based on serial number / movement but has had the dial / hands replaced at some time in the past (I do not have the service history for the watch so have no idea when).

The model number of the watch since it is from 1985 is actually 145.022

I started a 24 hour movement timing test yesterday at 4:00PM EST and will report back later today what the results are.
