For sale or trade is my Squale 1521 50 Atmos Ocean-Blasted Diver’s Watch.
Comes with full kit and warranty card is dated April 2016.
This watch has a cool 70’s vibe to it.
The blue is absolutely stunning.
Has the rock-solid 2824-2 movement and is running great.
Overall condition is good. It has been worn, and there are some minor surface abrasions.
The sapphire is clean, and the case is in very good condition with only a few very small fealties.
One thing to note - On the crown side of the case, the previous owner tried to polish out a scratch in the bead-blast. He failed at that, and has left a small section that appears a shinier finish that the rest of the case. It is noticeable when you look at it, but because of the position under the bezel, you don’t notice it while you are wearing it. i have reflected this in my price. You may be able to brush it back to get close to the bead-blast finish.

The classic 500 meter professional diver with the characteristic and famous "von Büren" case. A case that was part of lots of famous dive-watches over the decades, as Squale supplied these also to other big and small Swiss brands. A recognition for the sheer quality of engineering and timeless design by Squale founder: Charles von Büren
This unique and highly recognizable shape features a signed screw-down crown on the 4 o´clock position which is recessed and well protected against unwanted impact. Due to the recessed crown and the elegant flowing design of the polished case the watch is exceptionally comfortable to wear even on a smaller wrist. The hand-painted blue sunburst dial with the distinctly designed luminescent markers of Superluminova provides excellent legibility in low-light situations.
The smooth,coin-shaped 60 clicks uni-directional bezel partners well with the orange minute hand providing crucial, at a glance, information on remaining or elapsed dive-time. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is enhanced with anti-reflective treatment on both sides and protects this timepiece up to 500 meters below sea-level or 50 atmosphere of pressure.
The great attention to detail and quality is easy to see in the acid-etched case back and the sapphire-crystal guarding the superluminova on the bezel. Great details that give this iconic timepiece a contemporary look and feel but still paying respect to its classic, unique design and brand philosophy.
The Swiss Made ETA 2824 automatic movement gives the watch it´s mechanical reliability and accuracy under the toughest circumstances.
