40mm German made automatic pilot watch made by Stowa, one of the original 5 contracted watch making firms to provide military grade timepieces to the German Luftwaffe during WW2. The other 4 were Laco, Wempe, Lange & Sohne and IWC. Beautiful premium decorated movement displayed in the clear sapphire back, blued steel hands, large onion crown, and no date or logo, thus staying true to the original design. Purchased directly from Stowa in 2019 by another fellow forum member from whom it was obtained. Comes with the original and unused tan riveted strap and 2 other aftermarket pilot straps as well. Original steel suitcase style box, authetication paper, all in mint condition. Watch has no visible signs of use, almost new. Retail after conversion and import fees comes in at just about $1700. Skip the waiting time, added delivery delays and extra costs by grabbing this mint model today! Reason for selling is I have an incoming that was not in the plans so for every incoming, one must depart.
