Not sure if this is even worth anything to anybody so make an offer.
Snoopy Marlin that is just out of warranty and purchased for my son. Stopped working and took it to a watchmaker and they said it was probably going to be a $200 repair (this was without even looking at the watch so I think they were going under assumption whole new movement). My son loves the watch but can't see spending $200 to repair when I can get him a new one for $300.
Anybody in the tri-city area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge) that has the chops / wants to take a shot at fixing it and wants to make me an offer let me know. Otherwise it's just going to collect dust in a drawer.
Or if somebody knows a watchmaker in the Tri-city area that could have a quick look and give me an estimate to repair instead of replace movement that would be welcome as well.
