For your consideration is my former daily wearer; the black dialed 16570 Rolex Explorer 2. It is an N-serial which dates it to approx 1991. It comes as a full kit, including the original punch sheet indicating it was originally purchased from a dealer right here in Toronto. Also included will be the recent service papers, new warranty card, and service pouch with cleaning cloth.
Condition is worn, and unpolished. It was not a safe Queen and therefore has all the expected wear marks from a watch which was used but not abused for the last ~28 years. Everything is all original, including crystal, tritium dial and hands, and the optional upgrade to a 91350 offered at time of sale. Bracelet shows minimal stretch. I am also including a black Everest strap, an unworn vintage style leather strap, and an unworn grey NATO.
This watch was serviced at RSC Toronto last year where I specifically asked for only a movement service and seals replacement ensuring everything was kept original. There is nearly a year of warranty remaining on this service. Watch keeps excellent time and GMT function works flawlessly.
With consideration for the worn, but unpolished, condition of the watch I am asking for a very fair $7100. This leaves the prospective buyer some wiggle room to have this piece refinished if this is your desire.
