Up for sale is my 6263 Daytona. It was my fathers watch and was purchased approximately 1980 or so. He wore it for a period of about 12 years before he passed away in 1992.
The watch was unworn (in storage) until 2011 when I shipped it to Rolex New York (I was living in Florida at the time) for service. Rolex performed a factory movement service, replaced the winding crown and replaced a link in the strap. The case and bracelet were refinished. No other parts were replaced.
I have not worn the watch since (other than for a photo). I'm selling it as I would like to raise funds for a business I'm starting. I do not have the original box or papers but will include those from the service. I took the watch locally to Otto Friedl to remove the case back for a photo of the interior (sorry it's a bit blurry - iphone couldn't focus so close).
