Selling a TRULY vintage late 1940’s Rolex Oyster Precision 6426. Acquired from a fellow CWC member and vintage watch hobbyist, I found this piece among his lot this past summer. Based on his research, he estimates it to be from 1946, however I haven’t confirmed this myself. Prior to taking ownership, he has had it cleaned and serviced by an experienced rolex watchmaker. This watch will still be ticking long after we do!!

The silver dial is in great shape; the age of the piece truly shows here as the hour hand has left its mark over the decades. The dark blue seconds hand is a very elegant touch of colour to an otherwise monotone piece. Lugs and lug holes are sharp, shows minimal signs of polish. At 34mm, the case has many scratches and dings, which adds to the charm of a vintage piece....it’s lived a fuller life than we have.

I had a black leather strap custom made which was lightly used and which will still provide years of enjoyment! It’s keeping great time despite its age. I’ve tracked it using the Toolwatch app and it’s gaining approx 5-10 seconds a day. Fantastic for a vintage piece of this age!

Watch and strap only, no box or papers.

Asking $3000 shipped and insured to anywhere in Canada. $2900 F2F in the GTA.

Thanks for looking!
