Have a lovely 6245-9000 Seikomatic day model that is up for grabs. Silver sunburst dial is so clean and sparkles like this watch was much younger.
The dauphine hands are looking great along with the shiny index markers. Case is unpolished and is SHARP. Crystal is also in fabulous shape. The LION medallion looks good but you can tell its been worn down a bit over the years.
This watch became the 62 Grand Seiko model through some clever rebranding. The Swiss objected to Seiko branding with chronometer because they weren't independtly tested and were set to their own specs so the 62GS model lost the Chronometer text on the dial and on the rotor. It also lost the lovely LION medallion and was replaced with the GS medallion.
