This Seagull Bauhaus style dress watch is a real looker at a bargain price. I only wish the 39mm case was a 36mm and I'd keep it. I also don't have a single friend to gift it to that likes watches, that would be my second choice. If you have the wrist for it, this should look fantastic on you. Because the bezel is so thin and the dial large it 'wears' larger than it's 39mm diameter. The blue hands and stick dial are pure class, there are 3 variations but I went with just the numerals at 12 to keep a minimalist feel. There's also a 2-4-8-10 and 3-9-12(missing 6 because sub-dial).
The hand winding feels good, runs well and accurately for an ST17 movement. Listed thickness is 8mm but I measure close to 9mm with a nice domed Sapphire crystal. If you're going Sapphire, go domed.
MSRP $170USD on Ali in the official Seagull shop, a bit more from Seagull elsewhere. That ¥3200(Chinese yuan) price tag is nonsense. ($35 Ali coupon brings that down to $135USD, and a lot of the time you get lucky with no tax/duty so ~$175CAD new if you are ok with waiting a month and rolling the duty dice)
