For your consideration, my IWC Big Pilot 5002. I totally get it why the 5002 is John Mayer’s favourite timepiece. It’s such a gorgeous and historic watch. It has been imitated by few brands but they don’t even come near the 5002 in aesthetic, quality and heritage. I know I will regret selling this but I want to let it go for an incoming grail.
It comes with inner box, outer box, warranty card, warranty booklet and user manual.
It was purchased new in 2004.
It was serviced by an Iwc service centre few years ago. It keeps good time and works as it should.
It is equipped with the Fish Crown, which is a rare feature for a 5002 as most of them no longer have the Fish Crown.
The original buffalo leather strap has signs of wear but it still has lots of life left.
The watch has minor signs of wear but nothing that a light polish can’t make it look brand new ( if so desired by the new owner )
I would like to see it go to a good home where he will be loved.
