Tissot 1952 Bumper Automatic Cal 28.5-21. 10K gold-filled case. Sale is for watch head only, strap not included. NO TRADES.
Just serviced in Fall 2018 at Bob Thompson's Jewellers in Ottawa, receipt can be provided. New crystal inserted as well. Service value and crystal was $290. Case was not polished by me and in general lugs are relatively sharp. Keeping excellent time. Winding is smooth, and you can feel a very satisfying clunk with the bumper movement.
Dial is in good condition, some patina with a few small nicks/scratches. Tissot logo is entirely intact. Radium lume plots are original and all intact. Hour lume markers have aged with an orange discoloration, whereas hour/minute hand lume have aged to a greenish discoloration. Crown is original to the watch, and is the notched crown, which are hard to find on these old Tissots. The gold is in good condition, with no evidence of chipping/flaking.

Caseback inscription "R.P.W' 12-25-52" indicates the watch was a Christmas gift. Serial number also dates the watch to 1952.

Great watch for a new collector. Ready to wear. Asking 700 CAD, but price is negotiable.
