Okay, I am sending this aloft as a trial balloon, first. I have a P Series Rolex Explorer II (last with the drilled lugs), complete with literally everything, including the original bill of sale and ownership papers, boxes, hang tag, etc, etc; you get the idea.
It's not that I do not love it but simply that I have a hankering for something else. This is a beautiful and classic Rolex Explorer II in great condition, running great and still within COSC time-keeping standards.
I have many references (over 200 on-line watch transactions across CWC, WUS, TZ, DWC, etc) and can provide many first person references, as desired. I would expect the same level, quality and quantity of references in return.
I am not sure what I am looking for in return. I am even open to a combination of watches coming back to me. I do not have much in the way of cash to add to a trade, so please keep that in mind. I would rate the trade value of this watch around $3,800 or so, considering its condition as well as how complete it is. But please, do not waste my time with silly or low-ball offers. I want something substantive in return for this iconic Rolex.
