The Soleil red is captivating and should probably fill in the gap for whimsical holiday watch but return to its deep and dark mysterious side beyond that.
The watch provides extreme distortions with the high domed sapphire crystal and the bubble in the dial which is in perpetual motion. The purpose of the oil is to enhance visibility which it does admirably.
This watch comes in at a manageable 40mm case size and wears comfortably on the OEM vulcanized rubber. Strap changes are easy with the drilled lugs and screw pin as opposed to a spring bar.
