Offered for sale is a rare vintage Omega with a pie pan railtrack dial.
The original, unrefinished dial is well preserved with even patina. The railtrack dial is quite uncommon and gives the watch a very sharp look.
Stainless steel case is well preserved with some signs of wear. Observatory and stars are clearly visible on the medallion.
Inside is a cal. 551 automatic chronometer movement. The seconds hand was jumpy when I bought the watch so I had my watchmaker fix the issue. Service history is unknown but the watch is keeping good time.
SN: 17,xxx,xxx - dating the watch to ~1960.
