Offered for sale is a fantastic vintage Omega Seamaster from ~1954.
The watch features a heavy, beefy lug solid 14k yellow gold case. The case is well preserved. Measures approximately 34mm not including the crown.
Original, unrefinished dial with evenly spread patina.
Inside is an automatic cal. 500 movement. Service history is not known but the movement appears clean and winds smoothly.
The case with movement weighs approximately 42 grams. I believe the cal. 500 movement and dial weigh approximately 15 grams, leaving approximately 27 grams of gold in the case, which equates to a scrap gold value of ~$1650.
