Sold Vintage Omega Seamaster Calendar Black Dial Date at 6 Beefy Lugs - Serviced

This is a watch I had restored earlier this year that I intended to give to my father but he said it was a bit too shiny for him.

I’ll start by noting that the dial has been professionally refinished, and in my opinion, looks stunning and done to an exceptionally high level. This watch probably isn’t for the purist or hardcore collector because of the refinished dial but it’s a good option for someone who wants a very sharp looking watch for a fraction of what it could cost to buy a Seamaster Calendar with a black dial that hasn’t been refinished.

14k gold cap case and stainless back shows some wear but in good overall condition IMO. Beefy lugs give it good wrist presence.

Inside is a cal. 355 bumper movement, serviced at the beginning of the year.

Omega crown, gold tip worn off.

Aftermarket strap and buckle.

Price: $775 shipped from Vancouver. I’ll list this one on eBay next weekend as there is a strong market for vintage Omegas with properly refinished dials but I figured I’d try here first to see if there was any interest.
