Up for sale is my vintage Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69, serial (31,006,xxx M), produced in 1970. The watch has its original DN90 bezel and its original step dial.

The 145.022-69 reference was produced from 1968 to 1970, in the serial range 28,420,xxx – 31,629,xxx.

I usually cave when I get the chance to purchase a vintage Speedy locally, because you just don’t see many in Toronto. I had 3, but recently sold my 1991, and am holding onto my 1974 for now. As much as I love them I can’t fit 3 Speedys in my rotation. Hence two had to go.

This is the smooth backed, calibre 861, speedmaster, the watch that most people go to first when collecting vintage Speedys, because of the DON bezel (Dot Over Ninety bezel).

The watch is fitted on a Speedmaster 1450 bracelet with 633 end links. The 1450 Speedmaster bracelet is extremely rare, and goes for ~$1,600-$2,000 USD depending on condition. Also the DON bezel goes for ~$2000 USD. I would rather sell the watch in its original form than sell the parts (of course).

The watch is telling accurate time as per COSC spec.

$6,900.
