For sale is my Rolex Submariner 1680, 5.6m serial, circa late 1978.
Mk1 dial with maxi lume plots. The lume plots have patina’d to a beautiful orange colour, and the large size of the plots really make this dial pop on the wrist.
The dial is in mint condition - no marks, scratches, discolouring or fading.
Bracelet is a 93150, VD clasp code (1979), with 10 links and the diver’s extension. Bracelet is in great condition with very little to no stretch at all.
The bezel insert is a correct Mk3 insert.
This is a really beautiful example of a 1680 Mk1 Maxi.
