Sandoz Chronograph with Stella style Red dial.. Valjoux 7734 c. 1970
Up for sale is a fine condition fully serviced recently by a qualified watchmaker here in Toronto this very rare version of a Sandoz Chronograph. The Red smoked fume dial is all original, as is the case.. This watch would rate over 90% in condition if not higher…. The watch runs on a Valjoux 7734 DZ manually wound 17 Jewel, incablock swiss made movement….
There are not many watches from this era in this kind of shape…. This is an unusual and near mint piece from an era that is known for the huge brick cases… This is a classic style round 38mm chronograph with a date at 6 o’clock. There is no quickset on the date..
The watch is super clean and ready to wear…. Im not a huge fan of the current strap but that can be left to decide by its next owner….
A search on the internet for this model shows one available in not neary this condition in England for over $5K Canadian….
I will offer this watch for $4,000 plus insured shipping…. FTF in the GTA are 100% available…
