This vintage Seiko is running in top shape and keeping excellent quartz time. It was serviced about 3 months ago by Louis at L'Horlogerie de l'Outaouais. It holds the remainder of the one year warranty. All quick set functions are working. The watch has a stainless steel case with a screw down crown. The watch is on a black and beige NATO. A crisp matte black dial with black day and date wheels. The case has a brushed front with polished sides.
The crystal is clear and the dial shows very well. The crystal does have a scratch over the date at 3 o'clock. The case shows a lot of signs of use and, although clean and shiny, it is completely covered in scratches and dings.
The watch has a screw down case back with reference 8229-7000 G1.
The dial reference is 8229-700L T.
The serial and reference date this watch as being manufactured in May of 1981 or 1991.
