Selling my recently acquired IWC 3706. Moving quite a few pieces to fund a new Patek, so this must go... Here's your chance to own a 3706 that literally came out of time capsule. The last true IWC Chronograph before IWC was sold off to Richemont Group.
This watch literally sat in a box for 23 years. I received it a little while ago and sent it off for service as the oils etc dried up during it's long time at rest
This watch is absolutely mint - 99% Condition. It has NOT been polished or had the dial/hands replaced. It retains the original beautiful tritium dial/hands, which is just starting to show some beautiful patina. It also retains the original "fish" crown that IWC will replace with the newer crown, if serviced by IWC. The bracelet is like new and doesn't even have desk diving scratches. I've worn this watch very carefully, only a handful of times before it went off for service.
I literally picked it up from my watchmaker here in Edmonton today and it had a full overhaul. The watch is covered from this watchmaker for a 1 year warranty. I serviced it via my watchmaker as I didn't watch IWC to replace the dial or fish crown and my AD said IWC would give no guarantee that the watch would come back with all of the original parts.
Watch comes with the inner box, outer box, manuals, but does NOT have the original warranty card. I never received it with the watch when I got it.
$4500 FIRM delivered overnight within Canada via Parcel Pro or F2F welcome/possible in Edmonton, Calgary or Winnipeg.
