I purchased this watch from a dealer in NYC with the intent to restore to its former 188 white dialed glory. I finally located the appropriate dial, but before restoring it, I thought I would test the waters to see if anyone wanted some bling in their lives. The first this dial give off cannot be captured in photos. It's unreal.
I never counted the stones, but had them tested and are all high quality gem quality certified diamonds. The story was that the dial was created as as consignment piece by none other than Jacob the Jeweler in California. That part I cannot verify however.
I can say that the dial has insane amounts of fire. I've actually had a lot of fun wearing this watch due to it's one of kind nature.
I'm cutting down my collection. So, if there is no interest in the watch as it is, it will be returned to original with the white PAM188 dial. And I'll probably just eBay the dial as a stand alone item.
The watch was brought to Humbertown and sent to Panerai in Canada. They were none too happy the dial was replaced, but the rest checked out.
