Hi folks,

Up for sale is a beauty – my D-serial 16750 Explorer II (black dial) in excellent condition. Selling this because we just found out we’re expecting our second (!), and as a result, my jet setting days are grounded for the foreseeable future. I’d rather someone else enjoy this watch and its GMT function than leave it sitting in the safe.

I am the original owner. This was purchased from an AD in August 2013, so there’s 19 months left of Rolex warranty left. This watch was worn sparingly, primarily during international trips. There are a few minor hairlines on the clasp (shown in the pictures) from desk diving, one faint hairline on the back of one of the lugs from a bracelet change, and very fine hairlines on the case back. Lugs are nice and sharp and obviously, this watch has never been polished. Crystal and bezel are in perfect condition.

I’m sure you’ve also noticed something different about this Explorer II – there’s no cyclops!! A genuine Rolex Oyster Perpetual crystal has been fitted to give it that sleek, under the radar look. Watch was pressure tested just this month after installing the new crystal. The original genuine Rolex Explorer II crystal is included as well, should you prefer the cyclops look.

What is included in this package:
- D-serial 16570 black dial
- Genuine Rolex non-cyclops service crystal fitted and pressure tested
- Original genuine Rolex cyclops crystal in perfect condition
- Stainless steel bracelet sized for a 7 inch wrist, all extra links included
- Custom-made carbon fiber strap with leather trim by k-straps (fits a 7-7.5 inch wrist), like new
- Genuine 16 mm stainless steel Rolex buckle
- 2 sets of genuine Rolex springbars (4 in total)
- All boxes (outer white box, green Rolex box, watch box)
- Green and red hangtags
- Bezel protector
- All booklets and calendar
- Rolex polishing cloth
- Rolex international warranty certificate dated August 2013 (19 months of warranty left)

Whew!

Last MSRP was $7350. Current model retails for $8100.

Asking only $5200 + shipping.

Being close to selling this has made me rethink whether or not I really want or need to sell it.

Fortunately, I don't.

Keeping it!
