Feel free to tell me you told me so a year from now when I’m kicking myself for selling this one, but in the interest of reducing the percentage of dive watches in my collection from near 100% to something less than that, a few have to go.
The ceramic bezel is the star of show here and is chameleon-like in its appearance. I’ve tried to capture it as best as I can, but I’d encourage you to visit the Serica website for an even better series of images.
The dial is a deep, dark blue.
The bezel has the most pleasing action I’ve ever experienced on a dive watch - and I’ve owned a few of them.
This is a phenomenal timepiece that punches way above its weight class, and I’ve enjoyed every minute with it.
Currently, this watch sold out and on back order, and not shipping until well into the summer, so here is a good chance to skip the line and buy one in outstanding worn condition.
This one has not exhibited any of the problems that some of the Soprod movements have had (some have had crown issues out of the box) and runs well within chronometer specs.
I’m selling it for $1800, which is a little less than I paid when duties, taxes and exchange are all factored into the equation. Full set, of course.
Insured shipping via flagship is available, at the buyer’s expense. Face-to-face meetups, as always, are more than welcome in the Guelph, K/W and GTA areas.
Please feel free to connect with any questions or for additional pics or videos.
